Key People
David Carr
David is a shareholder and the CEO of jonathanfry plc with extensive knowledge and practical experience of institutional investments. Prior to joining the company he was the co-founder and CEO of Hazell Carr plc, the award winning financial services outsourcer where he was named Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Southern Region). He co-founded the financial services training company, the Actuarial Education Company (now part of BPP plc). David completed his actuarial exams with Friends Provident after gaining a First Class Honours degree in PPE from Oriel College, Oxford. He travels extensively, plays tennis and the piano, and shares his home-time between Primrose Hill and the Stockholm Archipelago.
Jonathan Fry
Jonathan is a shareholder and the Private Wealth Director of jonathanfry plc and has been managing client portfolios for 25 years. He founded the original company, Jonathan Fry & Co, in 1984 specialising in providing a range of innovative and customer centric financial services to High Net Worth individuals in northern England. In 2005 he co-founded Jonathan Fry Co Ltd which has now expanded to become jonathanfry plc. Jonathan is a trustee of the Zetland Foundation, which supports young professional musicians, and a trustee of Pendragon, a charity for young adults with special needs. He splits his time between North Yorkshire and London.
Adam Galache-Brown
Adam is a shareholder and Chief Operating Officer of jonathanfry plc. He was previously the Technical Director and Deputy CEO at Hazell Carr, and prior to this he worked in the actuarial practice of Allied Dunbar. A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Adam has a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from St John's College, Oxford, is fluent in English and Spanish, and splits his time between London, Bath and Madrid.
Antonia Simpson
Antonia is a shareholder and the Compliance Director of jonathanfry plc, with additional responsible for all back office services such as Customer Services, Human Resources and Procurement. She is a Pensions Transfer Specialist and prior to her current role she founded Antonia Simpson IFM Ltd and, together with Jonathan Fry, Jonathan Fry Co Ltd which has now expanded to become jonathanfry plc. She enjoys walking in the Yorkshire Dales and splits her time between North Yorkshire and London.
Angelica Carr
Angelica is a shareholder of jonathanfry plc. Angelica possesses a wide business background gained within both Europe and the US specialising in International Marketing and Business Development. In her role as a Business Coach she works to inspire senior executives to maximise their potential and develop their talent. Angelica has a degree in Management Studies and French from Kings College, London and speaks French, Swedish, and English. She travels extensively, enjoys the arts, yoga and tennis, and shares her home-time between Primrose Hill and the Stockholm Archipelago.
James Scott
James has over 10 years of experience within financial services and is a Private Wealth Consultant with jonathanfry plc, specialising in the promotion of Dynamic Cash Management to both direct clients and intermediaries. Prior to joining the company, he held the position of Vice President with Citibank, leading the development and delivery of high quality mass market and tailored structured products throughout the Middle East and the UK. This included the EMEA offshore wealth management business and Egg plc. James holds a degree in Economics and is a qualified accountant. He enjoys travelling and is passionate about football and cricket.
Joanna Brown
Joanna is Head of Dynamic Cash Management at jonathanfry plc. Prior to joining the company she held a senior management position in a market-leading education company specialising in operational delivery, change management and programme management. Joanna holds a degree in Humanities and a postgraduate diploma in Management Theory and Practice from Birkbeck College, London. She enjoys travelling and has a wide range of interests including Egyptology and creative writing.
